“Fashion & Philanthropy” at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on June 6th presented the latest collections from Lucio Vanni Couture. The afternoon event, attended by Cleveland’s fabulous people showcased fashion designer Vanni Wang and accessories from Marise Designs.
"Fashion & Philanthropy" was created for YWCA Nurturing Independence & Aspirations program, a Greater Cleveland housing program supporting young women between 18 -24 years of age transitioning out of foster care. [ywcaofcleveland.org]

At the conclusion of “Fashion & Philanthropy”, Dixie Lee Davis was recognized for her dedication and lifetime work in fashion. On behalf of the City of Cleveland and Mayor Frank G. Jackson, an official proclamation of lifetime achievement was presented by Eduardo Romero. Ms. Davis also received awards and congratulations from Fashion Group International, Kent State University, Ronald McDonald House, Ursuline College and Virginia Marti College of Fashion Design. Dixie Lee Davis currently serves as a consultant to luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue.
